Beretta A300 Outlander Sporting RL 12 Gauge 30″ 2 3″ Black Walnut Right Hand
The Beretta A300 Outlander: An Ideal Beretta Hunting Shotgun
This Beretta A300 Outlander, a 12-gauge shotgun is an ideal hunting rifle. These shotguns are durable enough to withstand the harsh outdoors, and accurate enough for sport shooting. The Outlander model by Beretta is modestly affordable and incredibly versatile. It’s designed to fit the Beretta philosophy around maintenance: being easy, quick and tool-free. The wood stock (black walnut) gives the shotgun a beautiful look.
The Beretta A300 Outlander Sporting is a soft-shooting gas-operated semi-auto Sporting Clays shotgun which combines the classic Beretta bolt with falling block (locked breech) with an improved gas valve with a self-cleaning cylinder and piston, so that excess pressure caused by the most powerful cartridges can be decreased automatically.
The A300 Sporting was developed from our proven A300 Outlander Field series of shotguns with the Sporting clays shooter in mind. Key features have been implemented to allow for success all around, such as a 30” barrel with a wider sporting rib and a mid-bead, larger sporting stock with enhanced engraving, higher grade wood, Micro-Core Sporting Pad, and a distinct receiver engraving and color to set the gun apart on the line.
Our new sporting barrel is made with a special cold hammering process to ensure perfect concentricity, the barrel of the new Beretta semi-automatic A300 Outlander Sporting is exceptionally robust and lightweight at the same time. Designed for use with all types of target loads, it features a Mobilchoke internal profile and comes with 3 (IC, M, F) MobilChoke Victory Choke Tubes.
The magazine has a two-shot capacity, in line with the current hunting regulations in many countries, made possible by the insertion of a reducer. This reducer restricts firearm use to no more than three shots (two in the magazine, and one in the cartridge chamber). This device is fitted by Beretta during manufacture and assembly of the A300 Outlander. In certain specific areas, hunting is only authorized with firearms of not more than two rounds. To use the A300 Outlander in these regions, the magazine capacity must be limited to a single shot with a reducer plug (operation to be performed by a competent gunsmith).
IMPORTANT NOTE! WITH REDUCER REMOVED, CAPACITY IS 3 SHELLS IN THE MAGAZINE WITH THE USE OF 2.75” SHELLS ONLY! WITH 3” SHELLS, IT WILL ONLY ACCOMMODATE 2 SHELLS IN THE MAGAZINE!
Already in production in the early 1500s, Beretta products were chosen by the highly discriminating Republic of Venice because of their excellence. As the Beretta name became synonymous with uncompromising quality, design, materials, construction and performance, word spread beyond the Italian borders.
In the early 1900s Pietro (1870 – 1957) took the Company reins, introducing modernized manufacturing methods, many patents for mechanisms and simplified construction, consequently establishing Beretta, the first Italian firearms maker, as one of the most modern firearms production facilities in the world.
In the last decades, with Ugo Gussalli Beretta at the guidance of the company, the firm has opened a headquarter in the United States, the main gun market, awarded the largest military contract in modern history by letting the 92FS pistol to become the official sidearm of the US Armed Forces and starting a product diversification that brought the company to act on the market as the main player together with a clothing line, accessories and leisure.
The Beretta A300 Outlander Sporting is a good addition to any Sporting clays shooter looking to buy a reliable and durable semi-automatic shotgun.
